1. Overview

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access and use of the RiaFin platform as a registered or prospective financial advisor. By using RiaFin’s services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not access or use the platform.

2. Platform Purpose

RiaFin (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides a platform that connects financial advisors with consumers seeking financial planning guidance. RiaFin does not provide investment, tax, or legal advice, nor does it recommend or sell any financial products. Advisors are responsible for their own advice, client interactions, and regulatory compliance.

3. Eligibility

To use RiaFin as an advisor, you must:

  • Be a licensed or registered financial advisor in your applicable jurisdiction
  • Operate under a fiduciary standard or offer fee-only financial planning
  • Provide accurate, up-to-date profile information on the RiaFin platform
  • Comply with all regulatory and legal requirements of your practice

4. Advisor Responsibilities

As a financial advisor on RiaFin, you agree to:

  • Maintain professional conduct in all client interactions
  • Ensure timely response to leads, referrals, or inquiries
  • Deliver transparent, ethical financial guidance to users
  • Not use the platform for solicitation of unapproved services or products
  • Update your availability and profile information regularly

5. Platform Access and Fees

Access to certain features of the RiaFin platform may require a paid membership or usage-based fee. RiaFin reserves the right to change pricing, plans, or billing methods upon prior notice or not. Any free trials, promotional discounts, or refunds are governed by the policies in effect at the time of engagement.

6. Lead Handling and Confidentiality

Advisors must handle all client leads with confidentiality and professional integrity. You agree not to share, resell, or misuse any contact or profile data you receive through the platform. Misuse may result in account termination without refund.

7. Non-Solicitation and Platform Integrity

You agree not to:

  • Contact users outside of the platform without explicit consent
  • Misrepresent your qualifications or services
  • Undermine the credibility or operation of the RiaFin platform

8. Intellectual Property

RiaFin owns or licenses all content, trademarks, design elements, and functionality on the platform. Advisors may not copy, replicate, or reverse-engineer any part of the service without written permission.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, especially if you violate these Terms or harm the trust, safety, or effectiveness of our advisor network.

10. Limitation of Liability

RiaFin is not liable for your client relationships, advice given, or business outcomes. We do not guarantee any level of leads, conversions, or income. Your use of the platform is at your own risk.

11. Modification of Terms

We may update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
