Refunds & Cancellations Policy for Financial Advisors

1. Purpose
This Refunds & Cancellations Policy explains how subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, and refunds work for financial advisors (“you”, “your”) using RiaFin (“we”, “our”, “us”). By subscribing to any monthly plan, you agree to this policy.
2. Scope
This policy applies to the following monthly subscription offerings:
- Marketplace Listing Plans: Starter (Free), Bronze, Silver, Gold (billed monthly per advisor)
- Buy Qualified Connections: Starter, Growth, Scale (billed monthly per advisor with pre-purchased prospects)
3. Billing Cycle
All paid plans and connections subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis per advisor plus applicable taxes (e.g., GST). Billing cycles start on the subscription or renewal date and last one month.
4. Cancellations & No Pro-Rata Refunds
You may cancel any plan or connections subscription at any time by sending us an email with a valid reason. If canceled mid-cycle, your plan remains active until the end of the paid month. No refunds or credits are given for unused days or unused prospects within that billing cycle.
5. Renewals
Paid plans and connections automatically renew monthly on your billing date. To prevent renewal charges, please cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before the next billing date.
6. Plan Changes (Upgrades/Downgrades)
- Upgrade mid-cycle: We may charge a prorated amount for the remainder of the month. New features or increased limits become available immediately.
- Downgrade: Takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle. No refunds are issued for mid-cycle downgrades.
7. Marketplace Listing Plans (Starter, Bronze, Silver, Gold)
These are monthly subscription plans providing advisors with profile listings, client connection features, and varying levels of customization and visibility. For detailed features and pricing, please refer to the Marketplace Listing Plans section on our website.
8. Buy Qualified Connections (Starter, Growth, Scale)
These are monthly subscription plans delivering a set number of verified, pre-qualified client prospects each month. For current details, visit the Buy Qualified Connections Plans section on our website.
9. Starter (Free) Plan
The Starter plan is free of charge and does not involve payments; refunds do not apply. You may upgrade to or downgrade from paid plans at any time.
10. Features Marked “Coming Soon”
Features labeled “coming soon” (e.g., performance reports, calendar integrations, plan management tools, and many more in future) do not affect refund eligibility. Your subscription covers the features currently available in your plan.
11. Taxes & Payments
Prices are exclusive of GST and other applicable taxes. Where refunds are issued due to billing errors, refunds are processed to the original payment method. Banking timelines may vary; please allow 7–10 business days for your provider to post the credit.
12. Chargebacks & Account Status
Initiating a chargeback may result in temporary account suspension while the issue is investigated. Please contact support before initiating disputes for quick resolution.
13. Policy Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on our website and/or communicated via email or dashboard notifications. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
14. How to Cancel or Get Help
You can cancel your subscription (or account) by sending us an email with subject `Cancel my Pro Subscription`. For billing questions, please contact us at contact.
