Refunds & Cancellations Policy for Professionals

1. Purpose and Strategic Alignment
This Refunds & Cancellations Policy (“Policy”) outlines the financial and operational terms governing partnership tiers, renewals, tier adjustments, and usage-based transactions for Trusted Professionals (“you”, “your”) within the RiaFin ecosystem. By selecting a partnership tier or initiating a usage-based transaction, you agree to the terms described herein.
2. Scope of Financial Engagement
This Policy applies to the following platform interactions:
- Professional Level Tiers: Bronze, Silver, and Gold partnerships (billed annually per Professional).
- Usage-Based Transactions: Strategic connections and prospect matching beyond standard tier allocations.
3. Annual Billing Cycle
To ensure professional commitment and ecosystem stability, all paid tiers are billed on an annual basis (365-day cycle) per Professional, plus applicable taxes. The billing cycle commences on the date of tier activation or renewal and extends for one full calendar year.
4. Cancellations and Non-Refundability
Professionals may initiate a cancellation of their current paid tier at any time through the Pro Dashboard.
Initial Lock-in Period: To maintain the integrity of our vetting and onboarding processes, a 90-day lock-in period applies from the date of initial activation. During this period, cancellations or tier downgrades are not permitted.
Effect of Cancellation: If a cancellation is processed after the lock-in period, it takes effect immediately. RiaFin does not provide refunds or prorated credits for the unused portion of any annual billing period. Upon cancellation, the Professional Profile will be reverted to a basic level, and access to premium ecosystem features will cease.
5. Automatic Renewals
Partnership tiers automatically renew annually on the anniversary of the billing date. To prevent an automatic renewal charge, the Professional must process a cancellation through the Pro Dashboard at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled renewal date.
6. Tier Adjustments (Upgrades and Downgrades)
- Upgrades: Professionals may upgrade to a higher tier mid-cycle. A prorated credit for the remaining days of the current year will be applied toward the higher tier, and the Professional will be charged the difference. Higher-tier features activate immediately.
- Downgrades: Tier downgrades take effect immediately with no refunds for the unused portion of the previous tier. Downgrades are not permitted during the initial 90-day lock-in period.
7. Prospect Connections and Usage-Based Credits
Transactions involving prospect connections or usage-based platform tools are final and non-refundable. These connections represent a transfer of strategic data and are not subject to reversal once initiated. Professionals are encouraged to review prospect context and doctrine alignment carefully before confirming a connection.
8. Platform Evolution and "Coming Soon" Features
RiaFin continuously evolves its technological infrastructure. The announcement or presence of features marked "coming soon" (e.g., advanced performance analytics or integrated toolsets) does not influence refund eligibility. Tiers are defined by the features currently active and available at the time of participation.
9. Taxes, Payments, and Dispute Protocols
All partnership fees are exclusive of applicable taxes (e.g., GST). In the event of a documented billing error, RiaFin will process a correction to the original payment method within 7-10 business days. Professionals are required to contact our Professional Relations team before initiating any chargeback or formal payment dispute. Initiating a chargeback may result in immediate suspension of platform access pending investigation.
10. Policy Evolution
We may refine this Policy to reflect changes in our service models or regulatory environment. Material updates will be communicated via the Pro Dashboard or direct professional email. Continued use of the platform following such updates constitutes your acceptance of the refined Policy.
