About Zankhana Shah

MoneyCare Financial Planning was founded in 2002 by Ms. Zankhana Shah, a Chartered Accountant and Certified Financial Planner whose grounding in finance began much earlier. Growing up as the daughter of a financial expert, she developed a strong foundational understanding of money management from an early age. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1997, she chose to channel her passion for financial markets into a professional path and began her career as a trader at her father’s firm, J.J. Bhabhera Stock Brokers Pvt. Ltd. Her pursuit of deeper expertise led her to earn the CFP designation, making her one of the earliest female practitioners in India to offer professional financial planning services.

As MoneyCare Financial Planning evolved, Ms. Shah distinguished herself through her expertise, disciplined approach, and commitment to elevating financial literacy. Her work received national recognition, including being featured by Outlook Money in 2005, one of the most respected personal finance magazines in the country. Over the years, she has contributed extensively to leading publications such as The Times of India, DNA, Economic Times, Financial Express, New Woman, and digital platforms including Moneycontrol and iDiva, making complex financial concepts accessible to a wide audience.

Beyond her advisory practice, Ms. Shah has played an active role in shaping industry dialogue and education. She has served as a member of the Capital Market Committee of the Indian Merchants’ Chamber, one of India’s oldest business institutions, and has been a faculty member with CFP education providers. Her career reflects a rare combination of technical excellence, passion for teaching, and a longstanding commitment to helping individuals make informed, confident financial decisions.
