About Brijesh Vappala

Brijesh Vappala, the founder of BVare Financial Planners, is a Certified Financial Planner and a SEBI Registered Investment Advisor.

Vappala spent 19 years as an employee, with 90% of that time in the financial services sector. He held positions at companies like TeamLease, ICICI Prudential Life, and Allianz India. His work took him to various cities across India, including locations in Kerala, Bhubaneswar, Bangalore, and Mumbai, as well as in the United Kingdom, where he worked in Leeds, Bristol, and Guildford.

Throughout his career, he held various senior roles, such as General Manager – Regulatory Compliance, State Head – Customer Service & Operations, and Senior Authority Holder – Personal Lines Underwriting.

Vappala's experience in the financial services industry highlighted a significant gap in the personal finance advice landscape. He observed that most people get their financial guidance from one of two sources: (a) Family members, who are well-intentioned but often lack the necessary expertise. (b) Salespeople, who may have knowledge but are typically more focused on their sales targets than on a product's suitability for the client.

Recognizing a shortage of professionals who combine integrity, subject knowledge, and professionalism, Vappala founded BVare Financial Planners in 2017. The firm operates as a Fee-Only financial planning and investment advisory service. This model ensures clients receive conflict-free, unbiased advice, and it allows Vappala to stay true to his core values.

Although based in his hometown of Palakkad, a small town in Central Kerala, Vappala serves a broad clientele that extends beyond his city, state, and country. He works with many clients over web conferences, with a significant portion of his client base coming from Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, and the Middle East. His clients are primarily IT professionals, doctors, and marine engineers, with ages ranging from 23 to 67.

Vappala is fluent in both Malayalam and English.
